Fishing at Lake Keowee, South Carolina
Lake Keowee is an 18,372-acre Duke Energy cooling reservoir for the Oconee Nuclear Station. Formed by the impoundment of the Little and Keowee Rivers, Lake Keowee has a mean depth of 50 feet and a maximum depth of 155 feet. Bass fishing is one of the most popular activities on the lake; anglers can catch four species of black bass.
